Avs get the first overall pick. Kinda torn as to what they should do with it. Seth Jones would definitely help the back end, but then another part of me says that they should trade it for at least two impact players. Maybe I should be thinking farther down the road but I also don't want to end up like the Oilers with a boatload of young talent and still not making the playoffs. The Avs already have some great young players and I can see a new coach and some new additions launching them into a highly competitive team next year despite their 29 overall finish this year.

Yea I think you take Jones as a cant miss and get a new coach. They have talent all over the place, might need some addition by subtraction lose some bad character guys, but the new coach will do wonders alone.

if the pens lose heads will roll. namely bylsma's, as he keeps putting iggy on the left wing (not his natural wing) and refuses to combine the most productive line in hockey from last year.
gotta give crosby iggy and duper, put kunitz back with geno and neal. and man those turnovers from geno last night, awful. vokoun should be in net tomorrow, and we really need to play better defense. so many deflection goals.

One of the saddest game 7 endings ever if you are a Leafs fan. Thought they'd win one game but when they won two more I was really surprised. Had absolutely no expectations for them to go far at all and best case scenario now, they have some experience for the next year.
Second Round Predictions: Hawks, Kings, Pens, Bruins
