Not very many. I say the first two because of the obvious superhero meaning, the love/hate for both. Argo because of the acclaim and the fact that Gone Baby Gone/The Town were both talked about for a while. Django Unchained because it's QT, people talk about Kill Bill like it was yesterday and his most recent venture, Glorious Basterds is talked about today. Looper because it was a well made film, not to mention, an excellent, very rare Sci Fi film.

I don't know about Looper. I mean, I thought it was great, don't get me wrong. But I think I've already reached a point where I'm just done talking about it. I could go over the time travel bits, the story bits, the obvious lack of explanation as to time travel vs. telekinesis and why it even existed in the film to begin with. I could go on, but I think I'll just enjoy it for what it was and move on already. The Dark Knight Rises and Prometheus on the other hand, I could talk about for a long time more to come.

I like how it feels like an exploration not just of the planet of of the big mysteries of life. I like Shaw's character and found it really easy to connect with her. And I like how they are able to connect the biology to the original alien series.

I liked Shaw, but I hated her boyfriend. For a "Scientist", he was rather idiotic during most of their mission. I mean, okay, there's breathable air, but what about possible bacteria or untraceable chemicals? Are you really that stupid? Nah, **** it, I'm taking my helmet off anyway. Hey everyone, join in!!! Then there's Shaw and another doctor working on an ALIEN HEAD with no protective gear whatsoever, looking right at unknown parasites growing on it's head and still wanting to explore further with no protective gear. The future is clearly full of advanced scientific idiots, if you ask me.
The only smart people on that ship weren't even scientists, they were Weyland's agressive daughter who put the safety of the ship first and the noble Captain who gave his life to protect an entire planet of people.

The truth behind Prometheus, the Xenomorph and Engineers revealed?
I think Ridley and Walter have some ideas mostly about Shaw, Holloway, David and the Engineers' back story. Food for thought: 1. The Creator Gods have most likely been nearly wiped out by the Engineers by the time Prometheus began. 2. Engineers are bio engineered by Creators to complete tasks for them and were designed to not have feelings which over millennia they did develope unbeknownst to the Creators. 3. One task is to seed planets. Seeding planets is a way to ensure the continued existence of the creators own life form type which they see as superior to all others. 4. To populate the planets an Engineer is sacrificed by consuming an elixir that deconstructs the Engineer to its basic components stripping off and destroying the DNA that makes the Engineer superhuman and then it recombines to create life with DNA that is exactly like the Creators thus populating planets in the Universe the most efficient and least painstakingly way, for the Creators that is. Very Very Painstaking for the Engineers and sacrificing themselves to create other beings that are thought more of by the creators than the engineers, has created a rebellion approximately thousands of years before the Prometheus expedition. 5. A rebellion war by the Engineers has sent the remaining living Creators into hiding on planets that had been seeded. The Engineers have found a way to extract the part of themselves that makes them superhuman compared to the creators and earthling like humanoids that they have been populating the Universe for the Creators with. By extracting and preserving the super component they found a way to destroy all humanoids and creators using it as a bio-weapon. The Bio Former that was created by the Creator Gods was never meant to be separated from the Engineers. When it is separated but not destroyed immediately, it becomes the most terrifying substance to life forms in the Universe. The Xenomorph is the main result of the use of this bio weapon and the Engineers have made it their new god since it is something other than the creators and is what makes them different from being a common humanoid. 6. David knows this already! Ahhh Paradise, isn't it nice!!! I will also leave you with these 5 words to ponder how they may play a part in Prometheus 3 - Egyptians, Slaves, Pyramids, Moses, Exodus. Prometheus 2 is mostly going to be a back story about what Shaw and Holloway found that was not told to the crew or Vickers but David was able to see and study these things by viewing Shaw's memories and dreams while she was in stasis. David and Shaw will not get to Paradise until Prometheus 3.
