Not really sure going back over the last page.

I think I was trying to respond to this : "This movie will rip the Star Trek fan base in two like nothing before. People will either love or hate it."

For most fans I think JJ delivered in spades on the first one. This was after it was slated mercilessly before opening due to my reasonings. The time travel/reboot storyline divided fans that's for certain.

Most of you will probably be happy (if this hasn't been said before) that this will probably be Abrams last Star Trek - he isn't making enough money on nick-nacks because Paramount won't stop production of the TV Collectibles (and they are cutting into Abrams' Corner on the marketing of movie collectibles apparently).
He was always more interested in doing Star Wars anyway

It is also mentioned that he wanted to launch a new Star Trek TV series. I think that, above all else, was a huge reason for him to switch franchises.
