Does Oliver really defeat Tommy's dad in the finale? It seems unlikely.

I don't know. The pictures show an obvious showdown between them. I guess I took the bold conclusion that there would be.

That season finale was..... spectacular. It's too bad Tornado doesn't watch the show. He would have loved it. Oh well, maybe next year.

The CW was on fire tonight. Both this and the Supernatural season finales were fantastic.
This episode certainly didn't end how I thought it would, and I mean that in a good way.

Great episode. I'm kinda glad they killed Tommy off, if they went the path of him becoming evil it would be way too cliche for the superhero genre, and also I don't see how it could be believable for him to be a threat.
In retrospect all the Harry Osborn/Lex from Smallville vibes they gave the character are pretty brilliant in retrospect, since they play with your expectations and make it so you wouldn't see his death coming. I don't watch Supernatural but I saw on my DVR that this episode had the exact same title as Arrow (Sacrifice) which I thought was pretty funny.

Fantastic episode. It was above and beyond what I would have expected. The action was well paced, Hell the entire episode was well paced and the drama really poured out from all the characters. We saw the best action, the best writing and the best acting for sure. That final scene is gun wrenching. Amazing episode, and one hell of a way to end a season.
