I'd kill to see Nolan direct a Bond film.

What? The Scene where they are transporting Harvey Dent and Joker attack on the streets. The Bank Heist. Bane and Batman fight underground. The Plane sequence in the beginning of TDKR.

Please all that is way better then the rooftop scene in CR.

I agree with Neverending. As much as I love Nolan and the Bat-films, there have been a ton of sequences over the years in the Bond franchise that top everything Nolan has done as far as action goes.

Yea and that's all James bond is, action set pieces. So that is all that matters.

So what you're saying is Nolan will be brilliant for Bond.

Almost makes me miss the days when people thought Peter Jackson should be the one directing everything.

Nolan makes sense for Bond. The man is a huge fan and has shown a passion for action set-pieces. Scenes in Inception like the chase in Mombossa and the opening with Cobb sneaking around with a silenced pistol echo spy/espionage type films.

The reason I'd be interested is because I'm curious as to how he would direct someone else's screenplay.

Maybe they'll let him and Jonah Nolan write.

That doesn't mean the Nolans couldn't do rewrites.

Excerpts from the next proposed Bond film, written by Chris and Jonathan Nolan.

Quote:
M: 007, we have a very serious situation here. Two nuclear warheads have been stolen from the US government.
Bond: Nuclear warheads? You mean bombs first developed at the end of World War II? Bombs so destructive that they could wipe out an entire city, killing millions of people in the process and leaving fallout for decades to come?
M: Yes, 007. Nuclear warheads.

Bond: The name's Bond, James Bond.
Henchman #3: James Bond? Surely you can't be Britain's most skilled secret agent, a Commander in Her Majesty's Navy, trained by MI:6, deadly with a pistol but just as lethal in the bedroom. A man who is licensed to kill and is not afraid to do so in order to accomplish his mission.
Bond: Anything else?
Henchman #3: Yes, as a matter of fact there is....

Villain: I'm sorry Mr. Bond, the last last thing you shall hear in this life will be the sound of my gun.
Bond: Ah yes, a gun. First developed by the Chinese over a thousand years ago using gunpowder and bamboo. Through centuries of development they have been modified with black powder, barrel rifling, and have become the foremost weapon on the battlefield. Used to discharge lead projectiles at a stationary or moving target, the gun can be modified to cater to a variety of calibers and can come in semi-automatic or full-automatic rapid fire rates.
