Can't, TVD already has it's spinoff "The Originals" taking that spot this fall...

The Originals is actually the lead-in for Supernatural this Fall. What's airing opposite Vampire Diaries is that Mary Queen of Scot show. Reign it's called. CW's schedule is actually gonna be pretty bizarre next year.

Well that's messed up. If you're going to have a Vampire Diaries spinoff, you stand a better chance of gaining higher ratings by putting it with it's sister show.

i imagine they want to try to get attention on multiple night and try to improve both shows.

yeah putting it with the other highest rated show on the network isn't that bad of an idea, the Tomorrow People looks bad ass as well.
