Got around to seeing this, finally. Meant to see it at the theater, but never got around to it.
Very well done sci-fi, especially with a budget of only $30 million. Time travel stories where the time travel itself is an integral part of the narrative are extremely difficult to pull off, but Looper did so brilliantly. I hope to see more of this sort of film coming from Hollywood.
It wasn't perfect, of course. Old Joe's wife is a significant plot hole, and the facial prosthetics on JGL to look more like Bruce Willis were distracting and a waste. Anyone who's seen Die Hard or Moonlighting knows what Bruce Willis looked like in his younger days, and that wasn't it.
