![]() I take it you also know Mel Gibson and Richard Donner were originally attached to the Wild Wild West remake, but chose to make Maverick instead? Oh, and the giant spider can be traced back to producer Jon Peters.

Alright, new movie: ![]() Danny Boyle is awesome. From start to finish, this is a completely engrossing sci-fi yarn with a fantastic visual flair (no pun intended) and a consistently creepy atmosphere. ****/****

Great movie. The only thing I didn't care for was the 3rd act, where it turned into a completely different movie. Not that it ruins it, mind you.

Animal Kingdom
Anyone seen this? Watched it today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great performances across the board and despite some slow moments I always felt interested to see where the film was going to go. 7(possible 8)/10 |

Yes, I loved that movie. Dramatic and well-acted. Great photography, too. One of my favorites of the past few years.

Ink
Anyone watched this? Just finished it on Lovefilm instant so maybe it's on Netflix in the U.S? Very high concept film around forces of good and evil who give people dreams and nightmares. A little girl gets kidnapped by someone attempting to become an Inkubus, giver of nightmares, and the film follows the kidnapper/kidnappee angle as well as the father whose daughter is now in a coma. The acting was up and down throughout the film with only a few good performances and some ranging from average to poor. Some striking imagery is used though and the story is really engrossing. Would recommend. 8/10 |

That may be a little difficult...seeing as how there isn't a movie.

Tombstone and Wyatt Earp.
![]() I thought I would relive these two films firstly Tombstone which was the better of the two films but yet I think I liked Quaids Holliday better. This movie is better because I like Sam Elliot and he wins the movie duel preferance. 8.5/10 ![]() Costner makes a great Cowboy but Russell was a better Earp. Still though I liked both adaptations fine its just one was better then the other. Dennis Quaid was great as Holliday and not to say Kilmer wasn't in Tombstone. Just actor preferance I guess 7/10. |

![]() Not many bio movies have actually made me want to sit down and research their subjects...until Man on the Moon. Jim Carrey's performance is nothing short of masterful, and the movie itself is pretty brilliant, because it basically adopts the personality quirks of Andy Kaufman in how it tells his story. ****/****

I love Man on the Moon. Really good and funny flick. I read up on Kaufman a lot afterwards too.

Liked it a lot, saw it for round 18 of the film club and gave it four stars. Not sure if I'd rate it that high on a second viewing, but it's clearly solid.

I liked it too. From what I remember, I gave it a B+, or around there.

Trailers on actual 35mm film? That could be really tough. Maybe you could call some movie theaters? eBay?
