That's why they call the Cowboys America's team.

That was originally supposed to go to the Steelers, but Art Rooney wouldn't have it.

I know there are only so many colors to use, but surely they could have incorporated some patterns or dots or something to help differentiate the colors more? There are six teams that basically have the same color red. The rest I can figure out geographically but I have no idea what that red part in the middle of Alaska is supposed to represent (my best guess would probably be the 49ers since that's the most public red team). Also no idea what the blue in those islands is supposed to represent.

The blue has to be the Seattle Seahawks. Beats me about the red.

Detriot too is that color blue but one would think Seattle. Miami should be White not Orange for Denver should be the Orange team other then Bengals.

Dan Marino fathered child out of wedlock with CBS employee in 2005

Thursday, Jan 31, 2013

Hall of Fame quarterback and CBS studio analyst Dan Marino fathered a child out of wedlock with a CBS employee in 2005 and paid her millions in a settlement, the New York Post reported.

According to the report, Marino had an affair with former CBS Sports production assistant Donna Savattere, who gave birth to a daughter, Chloe, in June 2005—shortly before Marino was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Dan Marino said that he and Donna Savattere agreed to keep their relationship quiet to protect all the parties involved. (AP Photo)
The Post report, which splashed "love child" on its headline, said Marino paid Savattere “millions of dollars” in a settlement to care for the child and also to keep quiet about the affair. Savattere, who was 35 at the time, has since married and had another child.

Marino issued the following statement:

"This is a personal and private matter. I take full responsibility both personally and financially for my actions now as I did then. We mutually agreed to keep our arrangement private to protect all parties involved."

Marino remains married to his wife of 28 years, Claire, and the couple has six children.

"My wife and I have been married for almost 30 years and have six children together," Marino said. "And we continue to be a strong and loving family."

Marino has been a member of CBS' "The NFL Today" pregame show since 2003. CBS will be broadcasting the Super Bowl on Sunday and will Marino will be part of the programming that starts at 2 p.m. ET.

Officials did favor Ravens, but on the same token, that ticky-tac play at the end with Crabtree was all too similar to how the Niners got away with one in Atlanta.

My point is that Raven needed thrown out of the game or made to sit out the game. 49ERS kinda play conservatively in close games when they could win if they just go wild a bit.

I think it's pretty ridiculous how much SF fans are saying they lost because of a bad call at the end of the game. It was a bad throw to begin with, questionable if he could have even come down with it in bounds or not, but they were both shoving, so it's not like the Ravens got away with murder (well, OK Ray Lewis might have).

I am not saying 49ers lost off of excuses. They just cannot close the big games out. They need a better QB then they have. Its very strange for 3 throws and don't put Moss in for he could have made any of those catches at any age.

I don't like the Ravens here because they were a bad team that got wins this season. Just seems like it was fixed so Lewis could get another ring.

Speaking of Randy Moss - I am glad the "greatest receiver of all time" once again went away empty handed from the Super Bowl.

Its kinda embarrassing for Rice and Owens would not have missed 3 catches in clutch time. Crabtree is there best option but they need better Wide Out and a better QB.

Ahh, you should find video of it. You'll enjoy it. He kind of gave up on the throw and it looked at least batable.
