How is it possible that Looper has 94% and Hobbit 65% on rotten?
Looper was the biggest pile of crap I have seen, so much was wrong with that movie.
For starters the makeup was strange, weirdest decision ever made on film. The female actress was unbelievably bad on the farm. (she even looked and sounded like the plot was crap) Plot was the most stupid idea I have ever heard of. Forced violence and a forced tit scene for the males. Then you have the shear quality of the Hobbit movie and the effort put into it. I saw it today and I found it exciting, fun, great effects and the Gollum scene delivered.. the orc battle in the cave was clever and epic! I was absorbed by every scene. From a design and story telling aspect hobbit deserves better and also it was a great piece of entertainment. I enjoyed every single second of the hobbit. People seem to be moaning about it being too long... I noticed so many people looking at their cellphones. stop obsessing about your cellphones and then maybe you will actually pay attention rather than acting like some idiot having withdrawals from facebook mobile. I cannot take this world serious anymore. Looper 94% i cant understand how that can happen... honestly I cant believe it. p.s. Instead of harping on Looper, you should consider forming an argument of why The Hobbit is better.

I saw Looper and The Hobbit and in my opinion both were pretty equally good for different reasons. The Boring comment was JGL playing a younger Willis. Willis however made the movie Looper good.
I would say both movies should have been at both 76% |

I haven't really figured it out yet, but I think Looper may be my second favorite movie of the year. I have yet to watch Django Unchained, though.
