For my money, Ronnie James Dio has written some of the most fantasically ridiculous yet awesome lyrics of all time. Take the below examples.

Their latest song (which mostly consists of an auto-tuned rendition of the song from dirty dancing), has the following line:
"All these girls they like my swagger / They call me Mick Jagger / I’ve been rolling like a stoned "

Many radio listeners will notice that that Swagger / Jagger line was blatantly bitten from the Ke$ha 2010 song "Tik Tok" which has the line:
"And now, the dudes are lining up cause they hear we got swagger / But we kick em to the curb unless they look like Mick Jagger"

It doesn't end there though. On the T.I.'s 2008 joint "Swagger Like Us," Kanye West boasts: "My Swagger is Mick Jagger."

And if you thought it ended there, you're wrong, because this seems to all originate in a 2006 song by Ghostface Killah "The Champ," which features the line: "My swagger is Mick Jaeger stones is rolling"

So the best that the biggest group in the world, who are soon to be Super Bowl performers, is recycle a line that's four times reheated. Uhhhh. And these lines are neither old nor obscure.

I guess what I'm just trying to say is STOP RHYMING "SWAGGER" WITH "JAGGER." And maybe listen to Fishscale again.

This is one of the least offensive clips from Nickelback’s thinly veiled celebration of misogyny. While this is well-done and provocative by Nickelback standards, it still sounds like a throwaway line from some Motley Crue B-side, minus the fun. And when will Kroeger and company realize that’s it no longer considered clever to throw in a “Yeah!” or “Come on!” whenever you can’t think of anything else to say?
