The Mandarin poster has a dark edge to it. He's wearing Tony's sunglasses and is posing as Tony would...lots of attitude and arrogance.

No one posting the bigger better version of the poster that shows Iron Man's helmet under his foot?

So, a team of AI Iron Man suits or does Tony have friends now?

Looks cool. Wondering how, or even if, they're gonna explain why none of The Avengers are helping Tony out.

I like it. I don't love it. Agree with Cooper, hopefully an explanation as to why the rest of them are sitting on the sidelines while Stark loses everything.

Can't wait. I'm loving the more serious vibe of these trailers.

Could be surprise cameos involved. They did it before.

I don't care how or why The Avengers aren't helping. They disbanded at the end of Avengers plus they've said they cover that.

I want to know more about this shot from the trailer. I'll put it in spoiler tags incase people are avoiding the trailer or are yet to watch it.

Why is she in her underwear in a burning factory and/dock yard? It really doesn't look like a burning down Stark mantion.

What, her dress caught fire and she had to take it off. Completely reasonable.

I imagine Thor is busy saving the Nine Realms from Malekith.
Captain America and Black Widow are trying to prevent the Winter Soldier from doing something unpleasant.
Banner is good if you need something smashed without too much concern over collateral damage because the threat is even more destructive than The Hulk. Terrorists who plant bombs on Air Force One aren't his speed.
Hawkeye is waiting around for a threat to show up that's vulnerable to arrows and will stay in one place long enough for him to arrive and shot them. If you need someone to deal with the cannon fodder, he's your guy. If the threat you're facing calls for an army of Iron Man suits being run by Jarvis, Clint is not who you call.

I think it might be Pepper's rescue suit. Just one of the things that come to mind.

President of Marvel Studios has the explanation for you:

Quote:
It's a good question, and it's sort of half and half. I am betting that like the comics you don't have to keep – if you are reading a standalone "Iron Man" comic, they don't spend every page explaining where every other Marvel hero is. The audience kind of accepts that there are times when they're on their own and there are times when they are together. I'm betting that movie audiences will feel the same way. That being said, there is a little bit of lip service here and there to that. There is also just the very nature of Tony wants to, once he barely survives that house attack you saw today, and even you saw it in the message he left for Pepper, he's basically saying "I'm going off the grid to try to figure something out."

Is it weird that, between this summer's two big superhero films, I'm a little bit more excited for this than I am for Man of Steel?

Considering the history of Superman on film, it's the natural reaction. Iron Man 3 is coming off the magnificent high of The Avengers, while Man of Steel has to make up for the letdown of Superman Returns, which was supposed to make up for the letdown of Superman: The Quest for Peace, which was supposed to make up for the letdown of Superman III.

revenge for what? does potts or hogan get killed in an attack?

i can't think you would use the 'revenge' line over just your house getting destroyed.

Ah, well, that's a relief.

I think Hogan at least gets seriously injured or something. There's a shot of him in the teaser trailer lying amidst what looks like the wreckage of a bomb blast.

New TV Spot premiered during the Kids Choice Awards:

http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=101915

It isn't as dramatic as the other ones but it definitely highlights the action scenes very well.

I wish I hadn't watched the Kids Choice Awards spot...

When did it become the Kids Choice Awards? Didn't it used to be the Teen Choice Awards?
