I love Community, but this first episode was a complete miss. They really tried to do too much in one episode making everything feel shortchanged. Look at the theme episodes of the past... If you wanted to do a "Hunger Games" themed episode, then have the whole gang involved in the Hijinks... I understood what they were trying to do, but I think they were trying too hard.

Actually, I laughed more in the first three minutes of Big Bang Theory last night than I did in through the entire Community episode.

That episode at least had a few funny jokes in it, but was still average. The storylines have been like...sitcoms. The idea to have Pierce in a room where his opinions influnce a TV show was really funny...and it lasted about two minutes in the whole episode.

The episodes are getting increasingly better. I'm assuming halfway through the season the new show runners found their voices.

Unfortunately, this show is already going through hard times ratings-wise, and it doesn't have time to allow these new writers to find themselves. They need to get back to the greatness that made me love watching the show in the first place and stop with all of this bland garbage they're dishing out.

nielsen will begin tracking online streaming... beginning in the fall of this year. so community has to make another season just to test the system.

i didn't really like the latest episode though to be honest, ended well but that was it, and that is why i think it is getting a pass by people.

I don't know why I thought this but for some reason I thought Karen Gillan and Matt Smith were going to be in this episode. Maybe someone just suggested it, but either way, that would have been great and I don't think it would have been that hard to get them, especially since they were at Comic-Con.

As indifferent as I am so far towards this season, I still went to the PaleyFest of it tonight and had such a good time. Seeing a live table read and a brilliant Q&A came at the perfect time. Plus, Leonard and Fred Willard showed up.

This weeks episode has been the best this season and was as good as the average episode from past seasons. Jeff's story felt like he just couldn't be bothered trying to be funny but the other members of the cast were all good.
