Me, Franklyn, iv3rdawG, and Jack were the only ones to pick Ang Lee.

I think I got 83%, the only ones I missed were Director, Supporting Actor, Animated Feature, and Sound Editing

Oh wow. I’d like to thank Jbond for organizing this contest. I’d like to thank my fellow contestants, who put up a good fight. I’d like to thank Kris Tapeley at Incontention.com and Anne Thompson at Indiewire.com, I couldn’t have picked the short categories without you. I’d like to thank my good friends and family, who give me the drive to succeed. I’d like to thank Neverending, for annoying me enough to over-think this thing so as never to lose to him again this year. (Jaws music starts playing) And finally I’d like to thank the Academy for putting this little horse race together for all of us to weigh in on.

Eh, I did the best out of those who went with Lincoln for Best Picture. Had I gone with Argo I would have switched my writing Oscar to Argo and got 2nd place. I just couldn't switch in case Lincoln ended up winning.

I got two of the three shorts (Innocent and Curfew) by going with the ones who won the most awards. *gasp*

Also, there's no way you didn't copy and paste this "speech."

By the way, concerning the tie, I gave points to the people who went with Zero Dark Thirty or Skyfall.

2nd place three years in a row. Deserves some recognition for consistency, no?

Don't forget about Chewie. He also got 2nd place for 3 years in a row. AND he got 1st place a few years ago. And not once have I seen him brag about it. So, kudos to Chewie.

Holy crap, I can't believe Argo won best picture. I guess the last several entries (which I hadn't previously seen) predicted as such so I guess there was something tipping it off as inevitable but I hadn't checked up on this thread so I was genuinely shocked. I thought the fact that Affleck wasn't nominated for Best Director took it out of the running.

I am totally delighted. Argo was my favorite film of the year, at least Oscar winner-contender-wise. Although I also think that Affleck should have won or at least been nominated for best director, beggars can't be choosers.

I'm at the bottom? Really? Damn... Serves me right though for picking Zero Dark Thirty.

Ah well I likely would have won if got what i guessed all right. Vader may make this sound lazy but really some awards don't really care about really and If do watch oscars more often i fall asleep and sometime wake up for the final big big awards.

I always fall asleep at 3:45-4am just before they announce the big guns... It's annoying.
