Kinda disgusting how the Celebrities section of the boards is basically all threads dedicated to objectifying the female body. Why do we need that on these boards? I'm sure lots of kids find their way to this forum from superherohype and they shouldn't be subjected to that stuff.

It's not so much that there are threads objectifing women, but that there has to be 7 or 8 of them for some reason. Where one of them is just the conformation that yes, hot women are in fact "hot."

EDIT: Forgive me, it's already on and the PS4 has already been revealed. Freaking awesome, so far. Although, the controller doesn't look so hot to me.

I'll be lining up on release day. Rumours abound that we won't get it in Europe until 2014 though.... Similar situation to the PS3's launch. On the plus side I still have around 10 games from this generation that I need to complete and it'll probably take me that long to get around to finishing them all.

yea ps4 looks pretty damn impressive, admitted their huge mistake with the cell technology and are just going with straight computing power.

lot cheaper than upgrading my whole computer too, that is if its like 550 or so at launch. no backwards compatibility though.

I don't think any harm is being done. This is the internet, you'll be hard pressed to find any kind of forum frequented by adults that doesn't have a little pocket of porn/sex in there somewhere. There's much worse out there and it isn't hard to find. Censorship isn't the way to go.

No load time!? That's a major selling point. Plus, after reviewing the graphics it would appear that the PS4 has the potential to deliver not only incredibly realistic and beautiful graphics but extremely large and immersive worlds. Particularly liked the Watchdogs gameplay trailer.

Wondering what Sony's overall plan is regarding their intent to somehow integrate games into people's daily lives, taking out the supposed, playing the game and then going back to reality. Sounds inviting and all but seriously wonder if this type of "progress" is just going to create more people addicted to video games, especially MMORPGs.

I have survived snowpocalypse '13 just fine. Boyfriend and I stayed home yesterday because he had the day off, and today the roads that I've traveled on have been just fine. I was able to take him to work and get to my appointment without incident. I'm not looking forward to my next session in April, I think I'm going to get the numbing cream. Lasers hurt!

Guess I ruined my cat's dinner lol

Usually I pick up her bowl and spoon the cat food in, then put a hip and joint teat on top.
This time it was the last serving in the can, so I got the treat tossed it in, and loosened the soft food so I could dump it in.
She looked at me and didn't eat it. OCD much lol

My dad and brother got into a pretty bad accident tonight. their truck is a wreck. Some ******* cut in front of them at an intersection and crashed into them doing 55 in a 25 zone. Right now I'm sitting in the waiting room at the hospital waiting to hear from the doctor about my brother.

Good morning all, quick update; the truck was a 08 Toyota Tundra, and the other vehicle that hit them was a car, but since it slammed into the driver front side, it cracked the axle and smashed the front end. The *******'s car was wrecked, but he came out okay with minor cuts and scrapes. My dad suffered injuries to his left side (arm, leg, neck, etc), my brother injured his back, neck and ribs pretty bad. But they both were okay enough to send home last night, so that's something to be thankful for.

Now here's the part that I HAAATE knowing, that made me wish I was there last night. Apparently the driver and his passenger were drinking, and according to my brother, clearly looked drunk. BUT, because the on-scene police officers did not find alcohol in their car or smelt it on their breath, they were not allowed to perform the breathalyzer test on them to prove it. I mean, what the **** is that? These guys were drunk and were allowed to go home to sober up? This is what's got me all ****ed up this morning. Total bull****.

That's really awful, Tolkien. I'm relieved to hear that both your dad and brother were sent home though.

It only makes my fear of cars even more intense. I used to not find them so intimidating, but I was in a car accident awhile back and it completely altered my perspective.
