Finally got around to seeing this.

Pretty much echo what everyone else has said. Fantastic acting, great characters who are well grounded in reality and the feel good factor that leaves you smiling at the end.

One of my best mates recently got diagnosed with Bi-Polar and I have to say Cooper nails it with his manic mannerisms.

Just saw this movie. Was very impressed with it. Its nice to watch a movie, where I really don't know where the journey is going. Great cast of character and very much worth seeing.

Just saw this over the weekend as well. It was good, pleasant, made me feel great about myself afterwards. I don't think it had as great an impact as it did on everybody else, though. Like, it was a very good feel-good movie, to me. David O. Russell's direction was a little weird at times.

Off the top of my head, towards the end of the movie when Pat caught up with Tiffany and told her about his feelings, the camera zoomed out from the couple down the street like some kinda weird special effects shot. Kinda took me out of the moment a little bit. You guys remember that?

This movie is kind of a reminder as to why Films are made... You actually have something original and people didn't over act and felt real?

Whoa!

I mean come on you got Jennifer Lawrence in the best performance of her career, and on top you got Bradley Cooper who I thought was brilliant in "Limitless" (If you haven't seen this gem I highly recommend you do so)

With Robert DeNiro showing up and actually performing and reminding us why he was a great actor in the first place?

I mean come on!

I feel like if I ever met anyone who was Bi-polar this is how they would behave and act. I've never seen that before it's refreshing and new. Probably in my top 3 movies of the year

He used the same shot during the opening scene of The Fighter. It's becoming one of his trademarks.

I thought it started off a little slow but once Jennifer Lawrence enters the picture its clicking on all cylinders. Better than The Fighter I'd say.

Silver Linings Playbook is not a good film to watch when you are hungover because no one ever stops yelling and the camera never stops moving and mental illness is a total bummer but if you look on the bright side and enter a dance competition you'll be OK.
