I thought Future Nick was too Community for New Girl till they showed he was just a weird homeless guy. Or was he?

It seemed weird that even after seeing he was a homeless guy that Nick made Jess the drink and said sorry for something he may do. Personally I thought he was supposed to say sorry for giving Jess the wrong number but the show said different.

^ my thoughts exactly. I'm also starting to like Winston more. This season has been great. It's so nice to have a show that actually makes me laugh out loud on a consistent basis.

Nick is on a row this season. The scene at the haunted house is one of the show's best. But Schmidt still holds his own:

Why did they really make suck a big thing out of Nick punching Jess? It was clearly an instant reaction/accident.

The last episode confirmed for me why Schmidt is my favourite. The dead serious lapdance with the "eye contact" line had me laughing out loud all alone in my house for a good ten minutes. I never laugh out loud by myself. No idea how he did that with a straight face haha

actually, after watching that scene again, I'm pretty sure they had zero takes where they didn't laugh because the two clearly crack up when they start hitting each other lol

I'm rewatching this week's episode with Julius Pepperwood. I'm not going to lie, I laughed so hard I farted when they were discussing the safe word and Jess asked Nick "What am I supposed to call them, sweet, tangy balls?".

That's a pretty rave review from someone who has fart anxiety.

I also liked Jess' yodel during the office hours when Edgar came to visit her. "NoooOOOOooootebook"

The last few episodes have been friggen fantastic, like laughing out loud so hard I had cramps.

I can't get over how awesome Schmidt is. I loved the little fainting thing he did when Nick was scaling the outside wall.

The kiss was...conflicting. I was really anticipating it and totally wanted it but it was also kind of awkward and a little bit awesome? I don't know. Should add for some interesting dynamics.

More Schmidt though!

Well played, New Girl. Well played. Anyway... season two was great. The show found its voice and has been a joy to watch. Future Nick and Julius Pepperwood were the standouts this year. I hope we get more episodes like those in season 3... and hopefully more Rob Reiner too. I'm also curious what they're gonna do with Jess and Nick. I hope at some point they move out of the loft and start exploring a more... adult relationship.
