This summer, there's a movie where Channing Tatum has to rescue President Jamie Foxx while the White House is under attack. That isn't this movie. This is Gerald Butler rescuing President Harvey Dent while the White House is under attack. Enjoy:

What's with all these movies about Asian militaries/terrorists attacking the US? As a guy from Asia, I can assure you that you guys have nothing to worry about. I guess they just ran out of terrorist stereotypes.

I guess North Korea is the safe bet because everybody, aside from North Koreans, thinks they're mental so there'll be no complaints.

BTW that trailer was ****ing awful. Under Siege in the White House, anyone? Looks like one big cliché that is taking itself way too seriously.

as a guy living in the states, i can assure you, there are plenty of paranoid people who will never believe you. i have a friend that goes to school in michigan, there happens to be a lot of asian students at his school, he says they are all chinese spies. he is serious when he tells you this. his friends agree with him that they might be spies. he goes to a vocational school for fixing cars by the way.

this is what hollywood works for.

I just can't understand with the cost of production these days how 2 films with the same basic plot are both greenlit and released on the same year. And Hollywood has been doing for years. Armageddon and Deep Impact in 98, Tombstone and Wyatt Earp in 94, and a trio in 2003/2004 with Timeline, Butterfly Effect and Sound of Thunder (all back time based films released in 5 month span)

So now this pair of films are coming out and at this point I am more likely to spend the coin on the first one, Olympus has Fallen than White House Down. If anything since there is nothing competing with it that I would rather see (ie WHD is released same day as KickAss 2)
