I said O Brother. I haven't seen a lot of those movies, but O Brother is probably on my top ten favorites ever, and I love the soundtrack so much!

Since we've been talking about the Coen Bros. a lot lately, I figured I'd bump this ol' thread of mine.

I've actually been thinking about giving them the Spielberg List treatment...

It's a toss up between The Big Lebowski, A Serious Man, and Barton Fink. I'll just say The Big Lebowski, since it's the one I watch the most.

Watched The Big Lebowski a few years back for the first time and I just didn't get the praise. I thought it was decent but not much more than that.
I am a fan of Fargo though. |

I think a lot of people, myself included, are lukewarm on Big Lebowski on their first viewing. I thought it was pretty weird and too far out there. I watched it later on with some friends for a second time and found myself laughing a little more and the little nuances started to register. I watched it a third time not too long after that and thought it was amazing. It's my favorite kind of comedy; the one where you see something new and laugh at something different every time you see it. For people who think it's not that great I recommend watching it again, I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised.

I've only seen 4 movies of theirs - quite surprising when looking at the list of ones I haven't seen.
Loved Fargo, I liked the story of The Lady Killers - but it could have had a different take on some of the characters They did a good job with True Grit, And Honestly, I don't recall much of No Country for Old Men

For me, I can't decide between No Country For Old Men, Blood Simple and Fargo. It's one of those.
