I would much rather see him try other things. If this is just one of many projects that he will be filming then I'm fine with that, but I don't want this to be his big return project.

T4 was far superior to T3

it wasn't a horrible film at all, and gets far more hate than it deserves

I enjoyed T4 except Christian Bale was terrible as JC. Sam Worthington was awesome and should have lived at the end instead of Bale who was unlikable. They could have continued the series with him...

Would be just fine with out Aunold in it.

Lin has done a decent job with the Fast and Furious films....they have all been consistent so he might be ok. I mean I'am not expecting T5 to be as good as T2 or even better but might be a pretty good film.

I don't understand the logic in trying to get Lin to direct T5 , its not like T4 lacked in Action and special effects. He has pretty much a similar director to McG in terms of the kinda of movies they have done.

Granted Lin has hade sucess with the Fast Furious and the Fast Five looks like its gonna make alot of money, but i don't see how you can be dissapointed with McG but go with Lin?Doesn't make sense to me.

Besides i really enjoyed T4, besides Bale having the worst performance of his career, i enjoyed it throughly. It was entertaning from the start to the end, loved it.

it wasn't the masterpiece the first two installments were granted that, but I'll be damned if it's not a fun film and Bale (IMO at least) is an excellent adult John Connor, I would have no one else in the role

and yes, I understand I'm in the minority in that but it's definitley not the turd people make it out to be

I sometimes have my own opinions until Franklin tells me what to think. Either him or Neverending, whoever chimes in first.

That doesn't mean Salvation doesn't suck though.

I moderately enjoyed Salvation, but not as a continuation of the Terminator mythology. Should have stopped at Judgement Day.

Same here. Rise of the Machines is the only film in the franchise that I outright dislike.

Salvation gets 10 points alone for at least attempting something different with the franchise and the non stop action/visuals earns it another 10 points
