CS! News Page says he's working with John Logan on the scripts. So even if he doesn't direct, he'll still have some input.

Chris Nolan should be given the job. He has expressed interest in the past and if the opening of Inception is not a good enough wink nudge that he could pull it off then i dont know...Skyfall was very good but we deserve a worthy follow up. I vote Nolan.

Nolan's next project is Interstellar. So he's not available.

Matthew Vaughn? He'd be great. Plus he's worked well with Craig before.

Daniel Craig is James Bond because of Matthew Vaughn. Layer Cake put him on the radar. So not only would he be great... but they owe him.

Mathew Vaughn should do it because i can't see Nolan making a bond film that was written by somebody else .

The Daily Mail is reporting that The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan has been approached to helm the next James Bond film. They say that talks are still in the early/informal stages with Nolan and his representatives but that Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson have started courting him for the job.

Previous reports on "Bond 24" indicate that the screenplay is currently being worked on, with MGM eyeing a release for the project within the next three years. Should Nolan sign on, this timetable might need to be altered to accomodate his schedule (he is currently workin on Interstellar, which is scheduled to hit theaters on November 7, 2014).Nolan's track record, however, shows he is capable of churning out big projects in less than two years, so a 2016 release date isn't out of the question. Chris is an outspoken fan of James Bond and has expressed interest in directing one of the films in the past, so don't be surprised if this ends up happening, but for now it's just a rumor.

A Nolan Bond film would be incredible. But... in a lot of ways I feel like we kind of already got that with Skyfall.

At this point, he could really make an impact on the Bond franchise. Just like he has on the Superhero realm and the Batman Franchise.

I really hope this true and I hope he makes both 24 and 25 back to back.

No doubt, Skyfall has become a billion dollar franchise. But I still feel the action set peices could be improved upon on a grand scale.

Nolan in my opinion knows how to do those really well and after The Dark Knight Trilogy and Inception I'm expecting some incredible shots.

skyfall sucked though... so...

be funny to see all the nolan regulars in a bond film though. daniel craig gets the boot and we finally get leo as bond. okay i can't even say that with a straight face.

Some of the previous Bond films have better action scenes than anything Nolan has done. I'll take the foot chase in Casino Royale over any of the action scenes in Nolan's Bat Trilogy.
