I don't think Ponder would have beaten Green Bay either. Green bay just got an easy first game. Lets see how they do against I'm guessing 49ers.

I don't know... there's still a chance they could play somebody else.

It should be a good game. The Packers aren't exactly playing perfectly.

Well that's not the way I wanted to see the season end. RG3 really should have been pulled after that second TD and he obviously wasn't healthy enough after he hurt himself again on that throw and fall.
Anyways I really hope ATL comes out next week and destroys Seattle. They are a really dirty team that likes to talk a lot of ****. Sherman especially. I mean I like Russel Wilson but the rest of that team? bleh. Oh well, can't wait till next season.

Well Seahawks play Atlanta so I am guessing there is 4 teams left. Just assuming it will be Packers and 49ers. Id rather it be Falcons vs 49ers and Packers vs Seahawks.

Do you not get how this works Vader? 49ers and Falcons were waiting to see who won this weekend because they each get to play one of them - not each other.

I know but I think its a bit unfair how the two better teams get rest and play the weaker teams. I think the 2 bye Team should play and the 2 other teams play each other.

Why? So each year everyone can start shooting for a wild card spot instead of top seed?
And RG-Knee is going to have to put a little meat on those tinker-toy legs if he wants to survive many more seasons with his style of play.

I think seeds should be determined alphabetically. Or better yet, by colors of jerseys. How many times have you been annoyed to watch a blue and white team play a white and blue team and get confused which team has the ball?
This is why RGIII was sniped. The only teams they could play were the Falcons and 49ers. Too confusing.

This is How Vader suggests you do the teams. The Owners have to arm wrestle and the winners is how they decide what teams play who. Truth be known I don't think any team should have a Bye week. Some teams have tougher schedules then others. New England have the best schedule luck ever really. They should send the Browns to that divison and Give New England to the Steelers, Ravens and Cincy one.

you could see rg3 hurt himself in the first quarter, surprised he made it that far. then right before that snap the sack he took really smashed his knee. surprised he even got up after that one.

Truth is Luck had NFL ready legs while RG3 had bird legs and the way he plays he needs to put on some more weight down there. The Thing With Wilson is that he is so small and fast he likely escapes unseen to a bigger player.

Looks like if we're to make the SB this year the road will take us through Baltimore and the Pats. We beat Baltimore pretty easily earlier this year, but the playoffs are a different story. If we can make it to the SB, I think we have a great shot of winning it all, but the road will be a tough one.

Well, John Fox and Mike McCoy really screwed us over at the end of the game. The coaches totally lost this game IMO. When you're ahead by a touchdown with less than 2 minutes left and the other team has ZERO time out - GO FOR THE DAMN FIRST DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Instead, McCoy calls for three lame ass run plays that result in us GIVING THE BALL BACK TO THE RAVENS. Sure, there was only 1 minute left, but you NEVER give any team in the NFL another chance. What happened? Well, they bombed a touchdown on us to tie the game with 39 seconds left. So, we get the ball back - game tied with 39 seconds left and 3 timeouts remaining. PLENTY OF TIME! All we needed was a field goal. So, what does John Fox do? Calls for Manning to take a knee and risk overtime. WTF????????????????? Manning was pissed, and rightfully so. We go into overtime and lose. What the f**k are these coaches doing? This is the NFL playoffs, not some preseason worthless game damnit!!! Just pissed at the stupidity of the coaches who should have known how to finish out a game that was already won. F**king idiots! I hope McCoy takes his a** somewhere else this offseason. This was some bull**it. We weren't a great team, but we had that game won. Just pissed beyond belief.

lol you can't really give credit to flacco on that tying touchdown, that was some of the worst coverage i have ever seen. i was literally walking out of my buddies place when that play happened and had to stay for another hour only to be disappointed...

It was like Denver just collapsed in so many different ways. Champ Bailey got smoked more times than a joint at a Portland hippie convention. And even with all the lousy play and stupid play calling, they STILL should have won. At the end of the day though, I think a better spot in the draft to have a stronger run at a legit title next year is the best thing for this team. Obviously, they weren't ready to win it all, or even play like champions (much less coach like a championship team).

and i mean, peytons arm strength is in question. gloves were a bad idea. he threw some ducks up there. also pretty impressive to see the packers get smacked that badly.

I am quite sure Marino and Elway had some bad throwing games and Peyton has not played a full season for a while. I think its a pretty good come back from Manning who had many neck surgeries to get them within a game of of the championship is pretty good.
The Bigger story is Kapernek beating Rodgers if ask me. Now if Houston can topple NE Ravens should walk into the Superbowl. If Seahawks beat Falcons the 49ers could be in for a hard hitting game. |
