I used to spend hours on the throne as a youth, doing bumper crosswords; reading entire chapters of books; pouring over the week's TV guide. I'd be in there so long that when I decided to finally leave I'd have red marks on my legs from where my arms were leaning. Now? I'm in and out within minutes.

Where did it all go wrong?

Also, I'm really liking the touch screen on my laptop. It's good for games and such.

Lastly, I'm having a hard time typing my instead of My on here. I need to remember where I am and who I'm not. Oh double internet lives..... you make things weird sometimes.

I'm watching a South Park episode about legal highs. It says that male cat urine can get you high... I could totally see people doing that. People are weird with the stuff they'll do to get high.

Yeah, I don't watch South Park very often and I don't know why.

Fell trying to get out of bed and transferring to the wheelchair - damn breaks didn't hold.

Got a sore neck and shoulder blade. It's mostly strained muscle. Guess I'll keep still and put some heat on it.

Feeling better today actually.

I stayed in bed under the covers and kept it warm.

My cat helped too - it was weird, she Is usually on the left side of the bed, but that's the shoulder I hurt. She was sitting on the right side looking at me, and then climbed up on my chest a little to the left, and sat there.
The spot she sat on while purring got very warm, and I could feel the warmth go through my chest to my shoulder blade muscles where the pain was - I fell asleep and felt much better when I woke up.

Still a bit sore when I move but I'm not wincing as much as I did yesterday

The episode (of which I could stand less than five minutes) had them talking about what a great cook Ma was - She made her special "Sketti"
Cooked Spaghetti with butter and ketchup for sauce (her husband was almost sure there was some mustard in there too)
