Watched it again. I really hope this holds up to the actual film. This trailer was simply incredible. I'm so excited.

I have never really been a Superman fan mainly due to the fact that, to me, he was the ultimate goody two shoes and virtually invincible to boot. Even with being from another planet, it just bored me. Didn't hate it, just didn't care.
But after that trailer, if that's the direction they add taking him....I'm interested. Never really been excited for anything Superman before. I like it.

The soundtrack is not finished yet, but I'm expecting some sweet sound from Zimmer.
And for the trailer...fantastic! I was speachless. Knowing what crazy, visually mind blowing stuff Zack is capable doing, I was sure he will put the blue guy right where he belongs, along with the scale of action that goes with the big S. But he is not a writer. He needs someones good script, and a couple of directions from the producer. Yeah, give him a good script, gtfo, and be ready to ejaculate when you see it the first time at the big screen! Now, this time, he doesn't only have a good script, which was overseen by Nolan himself, but he has the same Nolan as the producer, who is someone extremly gifted, helping him with the story, but not visuals. But still, with that high expectations, I was still blown away by this trailer, and what is more to come until the release. Good job!

My point is that he hasn't proven himself to be anything more than a guy who likes pretty images. Watchmen might be the most serious film I've seen of his and the acting was a joke. Let's not get ahead of ourselves just because the images are nice and it has a "serious" voiceover. Oh yeah, and because Nolan slapped his name onto the product. It may have the makings for a good movie, but this is the same guy who had Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" set to a sex scene. And it was meant to be serious. I'm not saying it'll be terrible. I'm trying to remain cautious.

Trailer looked great. I'll be curious to see how it all plays out, some of the quick shots in the trailer seemed pretty out there for what was originally called a pretty down-to-earth version of the story/characters.
