I kind of feel the same way but I only saw it once and it was a long time ago. I remember enjoying it but not as much as my cousin hyped it up.

Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2 were basically the same concept, except in #1 the evil was old Native American incantations. In #2 it was the Necronomicon.(With better camera work and time travel)

I agree with Franklin. Too many spoilers are being revealed in trailers these days, I'm surprised people still want to watch them.

The original Evil Dead is my least favorite of the trilogy. But that's because it's so low-budget everything comes across as cheesy. Sam Raimi made the right approach with the sequels by embracing that element of it.

Wow, that trailer was quite awesome. Miss seeing Bruce being the one in the action, but ah well. People forget that the original film was humorous really only in dark situations, and the series didn't get "silly" until the second film. I'm glad they're really focusing on the horror here, looks surprisingly good.
