These are highly subjective I know so I'm not going to put them in any order, but hopefully you guys enjoy the ones I've picked. First one's up...

One of the standout scenes in the whole film, it’s quite an interesting song to choose. Hearing “Down where she may be….” while watching Billy Bats get his head kicked in my Joe Pesci and Bobby DeNiro is a scene that will stick with you long after you see the movie. A cherry on top is that the following scene is one of my favorites of the film, where they stop in and visit Tommy’s (Joe Pesci) mother who cooks them a meal while their victim waits in the trunk.

Even the title of the song by itself is appropriate. The track plays over Max Fischer showcasing each and every club he founded at Rushmore Academy, from the calligraphy team to the fencing team to the trap shooting team. I could have picked any number of songs used in any Wes Anderson movie but this is my favorite.

One of my favorite uses of a well known song. I won’t pretend that this movie was robbed of any Oscars but it’s certainly an enjoyable film and this is my favorite scene, where hit man John Cusak who’s trying to find a new meaning to his empty existence attends his 10 year high school reunion. While there he runs into an old classmate who lets him hold her child. As he looks into the baby’s eyes and this song plays it’s famous ending, you know this is finally where he puts things into perspective. A great scene from a really fun film.

Well I've been boned lately. My home computer had to be formatted and after I did I realized I left my wireless installation stuff at my parents' place an hour away. My work computer blocks all non-work related sites, but I can still access gmail. So throughout the day if I want to post on the boards, if it's something more than a few words I pop onto gmail, type my peace, email it to myself, copy and paste it on my phone, go to the forums website and paste it there. So when I want to say something (like this) I'm damn sure I want to say it badly enough.

But needless to say my ability to post youtube videos on here and do lists like this have been hit hard, but hopefully I'll be up and running again by next week.

Usual Suspects is a good movie watching it the first time, once you know everything, it loses it's allure and quickly becomes a standard heist film.

I’m writing to thank you for everything you’ve done for me in the past 20+ years. You gave me life, food, shelter, an education and a moral compass. I know that I’ve driven you crazy most of the time but you kept pushing forward making me the man I am today. I do want to take this time to apologize. I want to apologize for paying good money to sit through movies with me because I, in my ignorance, thought it would be fun to see them. You laid down the cash and squirmed in your seats, unsure if your son is retarded for actually wanting to see this. So I’m here to say I’m sorry. I’m sorry for making you take me to see these 10 movies.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III The first Ninja Turtles movie is actually really cool and holds up quite well. I seem to remember that for a number of years after release it was the highest grossing independent movie of all time (I think). Ninja Turtles II was a huge step into the child/camp direction but certainly not a cringe worthy movie for the most part. No, that can be reserved for TMNT III, another movie that should have made me question its quality with its very clear absence under my Christmas tree. I know what you’re saying. ‘But it’s a movie about mutant amphibians who know martial arts who go back in time to feudal Japan, what did you expect?’ Oh my, what a loaded question.

Batman and Robin This goes without saying. It’s a very easy and safe choice, however the apology is necessary because I begged my mom to take me while we were on vacation in Hawaii. Needless to say we both hated it, yet I do remember saying ‘I guess I’ll ask for it for Christmas if only to round out my Batman video collection.’ That remark was met with a very stern ‘No!’

Bean I must admit, I thought this movie was funny as hell when it came out in 1997. I even watched some of the British tv show which is the polar opposite of what this movie was, even though it included Rowan Atkinson for some reason or another. I was 12 years old and it didn’t take much more than a bland fart joke to get me rolling. I recall my dad hating it though and I always thought he was crazy. However a few weeks ago I saw that it was on Netflix and decided to find out if it’s still the classic comedy film I remember. No, it’s not. Far from it. In fact I went through a laugh-less 25 minutes before pressing my face onto my stove. It was a rough haul and very worthy of an apology to Mr. and Mrs. Doomsday, Sr.
