Make it Rated R, no " Jerk off" or "Yipe ki yee " and no mother ****er, thats just wrong.
I have feeling because of the kid, he won't be as entetaining as he was with Samuel L Jackson. I still find Die Hard 3 to be my favorite one because Willis and Jackson were golden in that movie , two similar characters in terms of how they acted, who didn't like each other, it made for awesome chemisty. Mclane and his son just screams medlodramatic horse ****. Not to mention the guy who directed Max Payne isn't exactly making me jump for joy. |

Anyone thinks that this DOES NOT look like Die Hard? I'm a HUGE Die Hard fan, HUGE but this looks more like a stylized action film than actually Die Hard. Seems like every time they add a new film to the franchise it gets impossibly bigger.

Also, if you remember the clip from The Office where Michael explains the difference between Die Hard 4 and the rest of the series he was actually pretty dead on. John McClane isn’t this supercop who goes in and saves the day and fixes his hair. He’s the reluctant hero, a character who doesn’t want to be where he is and gets his ass kicked throughout while barely getting out by the skin of his teeth. The line in Die Hard 4 where he tells Justin Long’s character ‘we’re doing this because we have to, nobody else can so we’re going’ is like the anti-John McClane of the first three. Not that Fox gives a s--. And Franklin is right, a February release doesn’t bode well.

I liked it when these movies were Christmas themed. It brought with it a fun sense of irony.

I know, right? It's what made Die Hard so much fun to watch. It was the ultimate Christmas movie, lol.
But now, it's all about bigger and badder. First he saved a building full of people, then he saved an airport full of people, then he saved a city full of people, and finally he saved an entire country full of people. Now what's he to do? Aha, yes... go to Russia and save the world from WWIII. Careful guys, if this movie makes enough money, next he'll be going into space to save the Earth from aliens.

Die Hard had a building and no shoes, Die Hard 2 had an airport and snow, Die Hard 3 had a scavenger hunt...what have the last two had? Just action scenes where a city is a playground. It's going to be boring.
And I would say Jack will be more of a pinch runner to Willis in this.
