At least Phoenix got a nomination. Still my favorite performance of the year by a wide-margin. And Anderson should've gotten a Best Director nod.

Anderson is beign ignored, but I never expected The Master to do well on the awards circuit.

Neither did I, but at least the performances are getting recognized. Phoenix & Hoffman were goddamn amazing.

What could either of them (as much as I loved Skyfall) have possibly gotten besides tech categories? Judi Dench, maybe?

The Effects and Cinematopgraphy. Also Soundtrack, Dench and Oldman performed well so did Bale

This might be the Golden Globes, the Oscars' weird little brother, but I don't think even they would go that far out of left-field and spring for Gary Oldman or Christian Bale...

I wonder which movie is frontrunner at this point. Zero Dark Thirty or Lincoln. Lincoln is the safe choice, but Zero Dark Thirty has all the controversy about it being Pro-Torture.
