Since we are all hear at this date we can now assume that the world did not end the 21 of December.
This means we now have movies to look forward to in 2013. So what is your must see movie list for the up coming 2013 movie year. 15 The Last Stand ![]() People can say what they want but Arnald was missed as a action movie star and this too me says yes chessy but looks better then the Expendables movies. No offense to Stallone but Arnald just has this better action movie star presence and is the best movie line maker out there. 14 Hansel and Gretel ![]() This has elements that make this a January release and yes you expect Hugh Jackman to pop up any minute as there dad or something. However this does look kinda fun and cool and seldom can you get cool early action movies of this genre unless your Underworld. |

13 Warm Bodies
![]() I am no big fan of the endless monster and female girl teen story stuff but this looked fresher then twilight and funny. 12 Oz The Great and Powerful ![]() I like fantasy and fairytale stuff but this so has Burton all over it and yet Raimi did it. Truth is i am not sure any other then my top 7 will make big money in the BO. I however do think 2013 may have more hits but maybe nothing mega big. a more apt comparison would be van helsing, but it looks like it doesn't take itself too seriously (and from the director/writer of dead snow, it probably won't) which could be a good thing.

I was thinking of it as the next Van Helsing.

No that be Cruise Van Helsing vs The Mummy or something. And really Jackmans Van Helsing was allot fun really. I consider Van Helsing very underrated and would have maybe had a great sequel.
11 Jack The Giant Killer ![]() I know its a poster date is wrong but I want to see this because A like Fairytales and want to see if it was good enough reason for Singer to not direct X-Men First Class. |

I may be the only one who isn't even remotely excited about Gangster Squad. Do we not have enough mob movies?

The Thing is January movies tend to stink but sometimes they can be cheesy fun. Hansel and Gretel can be that. Mod Squad could be a hidden gem but Brolin starred in another movie and it stunk bad. Movies you never can tell if they will be loved or hated.

I've learned years ago to stop saying "this movie is going to either be really good or really bad." because 99% of the time, it's the latter. Snakes on a Planes was a big breakthrough.

Gangster Squad Has the right looks and cast look, but yeah, not interested.
The only thing here so far that I would be interested in seeing is Oz - but even then I'll wait until it comes on TV

Well there making a sequel but I am not sure Willis is involved. But my guess is Alba likely will be back and maybe Clive Owen for his story was more with the title character played by Rosario Dawson.

As much as I hate Frank Miller, I'm excited about A Dame to Kill For.

I'm with you on Oz and Sin City, but the rest confirm my suspicions that you visit CS! baked out of your skull.

9 G I Joe Retaliation ![]() My only concern is how the wimped out in it original release date for the 3D option. The movie looks great and should be loads better then GI Joe 1. Its Just not sure if the moving of the movie will make it a hit or a mistake. |
