I've seen it done both ways. I prefer to think that one package, whether it houses one movie or 100, is one Blu-ray. I guess by your definition I have way more then I suppose.

See, this is my problem with packaging such as the Star Wars set or the Hitchcock set. Movies are their own entity and should have some semblance of their own packaging. Something along the lines of the LOTR extended box set.

So I guess I still consider all of the movies in a set like that as each being an entry into my collection. For the Indy box set, I include it as 3 movies, for example.

Amazon's Gold Box Deal of the Day today was the complete Godfather Trilogy on Blu Ray for a total of $17.99. That was just too good a deal to pass up, so I ordered me a copy.

alright a little question for you guys, what do you use to 'show' your blu rays? like what stands do you use, is it a cabinet, etc. i have to find something to put my blu rays and dvd cases in, was looking at various towers on amazon but not sure if they are worth it.

but now i just have stacks of blu rays, ps3 games, and xbox games that i really need to organize and put away.

what do you guys use, and any recommendations?

I use a vertical rack, but I don't recommend it. There's only a few spaces for something that's thicker than your average movie box. Also, there's all that wasted space between the movies (and behind the rack) that you wouldn't have in a simple bookcase.

I have a couple, actually, and both are pretty solid. I got a black one at Target about a year ago (so it might still be available) that holds quite a bit.
