According to Digital Bits, they're planning to reissue them in late 2012. Not sure why.

About halfway through the series I got into it and decided to leave off from buying them until they all came out. Sooo, that's about 5 years. I guess I could wait another year...bastards.

I was going to get this initial release of the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Blu Ray anyway, so I don't really care about this. I've been getting the movies as they come out rather than waiting for Extended Editions or whatever; those versions really aren't THAT important to me. I'm more than happy with the theatrical versions.

And didn't they do the same thing a while ago with, like, the first three movies?

The moratorium will start on 12/29, but even though all existing Blu-ray and DVD releases of the Potter films will no longer be shipped to retailers after that date, the studio still expects that enough existing inventory will remain to meet any lingering demand for the titles until well into 2012. It hasn't yet been decided exactly when the moratorium will end, but Baker told me that it shouldn't be longer then 12 to 18 months. So it could end in late 2012 or early 2013. At that point, all of the product that's already been released will return to stores, and the studio will release the much-anticipated Ultimate Collector's Editions of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 on Blu-ray and DVD. So those of you who have been collecting the UCEs can rest easy - you will get the last two films as UCE sets eventually as well. In addition, at that time Warner Home Video will also release additional, new Harry Potter Blu-ray and DVD product with substantial new features. (Baker wasn't ready to talk details on this obviously, but it will probably include some kind of new super-deluxe BD and DVD box set of all the films with newly-produced content, among other SKUs.) And of course, the idea will be to make the Harry Potter re-introduction a major "event" release for fans and retailers.

Yeah, the do. On first glance it looks similar to the DVD features.

I`ll be honest though, my love for special features has died down quite a bit. Very few are actually interesting or different.
