I'll speak for all everyone below the age of 21 when I say that getting alcohol is as easy as getting alcohol at 21. Of the billion parties I've went to, a million of them had some sort of liquor. It's just not my thing. I could recreational drink a beer with my Father, and I hope to do so. I'll never drink to pass out or use it as an excuse to do ridiculous things. I do that anyways.

again if you read what i said (both you and neverending i think just missed what i wrote)... i agree with you. it isn't hard to get booze under 21. but everything changes when all your friends turn 21. the library just isn't that fun to hang out at anymore... if you're a 28 year old that never touched a drink, i'll be more impressed and more power to you, but damn that is a waste of your 20's.

and canada should get into some more craft beers, i mean unibroue is alright, but is there nothing else? just copying belgian styles? snore.

Call me crazy, but Heat is overrated. I mean... did this movie really need to be 3 hours long? There was a lot that Michael Mann could have eliminated. Like for example, that whole sub-plot involving Mr. Allstate Commerical replacing Danny Trejo (Machete). Another big example is Al Pacino finding out about the crew through Tone Loc. Did anyone else find that whole set-up completely ridiculous? The quickest and most plausible scenario would have been for Mr. Loose Finger to rat them out. Which he later on did anyway. Oh, and speaking of him, what was the point of him being a prostitute killer? How was any of that relevant to the story? Overall, I think Heat would have lived up to its reputation if it had solely been about Robert De Niro, Pacino, Val Kilmer, their family/social life, and the heists. Everything else should have been eliminated during development or simply left on the cutting room floor.

I'm with Dracula. Could Mann have cut out some parts? Probably. But I enjoy every minute of Heat and find it moves very fast considering its run time.

Heat is an excellent movie. The length never bugged me.

Also, call me crazy but I love the Blade trilogy. Okay, love is a tough word to use. I like them, even the crappy Blade Trinity. I find them really entertaining, albeit, incredibly dumb.

I've been saying the same thing for a few years now. I like it just fine, but it's WAAAAY too long.
