It is going to be by best record. Total points scored is going to be the tiebreaker if two people have the same record.

ESPN's default settings had some weird thing where winning your arbitrary "division" meant something. It set it so the #1 and #2 seed went to the winners of the "AFC" and the "NFC" no matter what. What I'm changing is that the top seeds will go according to record - if there are three teams in the "AFC" that have the best records, they will be the #1-3 seeds, whereas ESPN would say by default that the NFC winner was the #2 seed even if they had a worse record.

Glad I clarified this because it actually came into effect, in exactly the way I described.

Tywin Venison Packing Company has the fourth best record (beating out the Halloween Town Jacks in the total points tiebreaker) thus making him the four seed. However, since the three teams with the best record (Dez Bryant's Bodyguards, Fantasy Team Name, and Flacco Seagulls) were all in the same division, ESPN made TVPC into the two-seed. This is incorrect. The proper seeding is as follows, according to the "best record" formula:

1. Dez Bryant's Bodyguards
2. Fantasy Team Name
3. Flacco Seagulls
4. TVPC

Thus, Bodyguards will play TVPC in the first round and my team will play Flacco Seagulls in the first round. I have adjusted the playoff settings to reflect as such. ESPN automatically put the first round of the playoffs as Bodyguards vs Seagulls and FTM vs TVPC but this is incorrect. The current playoff order say that it is the 1 vs 2 seed in one matchup versus the 3 vs 4 in the other matchup but this is incorrect, it is actually the 1 vs 4 and the 2 vs 3 as is standard.

Ugh, GOD, if I had just not told anyone about this and played Tywin in the semis I would have advanced. I'm going to be especially upset if my team outscores Dan next week, meaning I would have won if I didn't change the settings back. I guess honestly gets you punished.

Yeap, outscored both of them, so I would have won if I just didn't change the settings. I'm really kicking myself about this, but I'm also giving myself a hypothetical championship.
