Finally finished the episode, and...wow. I jumped out of my seat as soon as the faux-SWAT team started capping everybody at the tailor's shop. That was amazing.

I trust that Brody will make the right decision.

This show is...incredibly well-written. I've blown through the first season.

It reminded me of my reaction to the the first time I watched the ending to the Breaking Bad episode "Half Measures" -- Jessie walking up on those two dudes who killed that kid, the tension is building, and then BOOM! Aztec. I applaud whoever thought up the faux-SWAT team invading the tailor's shop in Gettysburg. I'm using these tags because apparently Justin is only through season 1. I love this show so damn much.

What was great was it avoided a cliche so common that I don't think most people notice...those things in real life happen FAST. The bad guys aren't going to miss 99% of the time where people are taking cover and yelling tactics to their teamates. The bad guys had the armor, the firepower, and the element of surprise which equals a ****ing massacre. The only cliche was having the least minor character survive.

Yeah that was scary in a sense on how realistic it seemed, they just went in and out.
My question is this though, Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:

I don't think we're meant to know at this point. I would say no.

Jesus, this show really let me down. In my opinion, Brody should've been caught in the last episode of this season. It feels like a cheap way out for Carrie, who didn't really earn her way back into the CIA. After a spectacular ending to the first season, they provide us with a shortcut.

Ahhh, then I'll wait. I felt just like you did at first about the direction of Season 2, with the tape and Brody getting grabbed, and then after a couple of episodes you'll see that your faith in the show is justified. Hated the direction, and now I'm completely onboard.

Wow what an episode! God knows what's going to happen next. Dana is really starting to get on my nerves now though I could tolerate her at fist but now she is just a moaning cow!

**** just got real. Also: nice touch that Abu-Nazir kind of looks like Salman Rushdie.

Saul rules. The scene with him getting a polygraph test during the last episode was priceless. I hope next season is just him growling stuff at people during simple tasks.

The last episode was like a finale of "24." And I mean that in a bad way. Mandy Patinkin is also brilliant in Dead Like Me. Plays another hard-ass.

Yeah, unfortunately the latter half of this season has gotten out of hand. Still a lot of good moments, mostly with the characters.
But it's been on a slow and steady downward spiral ever since they arrested Brody. |

i would say the 1 to 2 episodes after that were still top teir quality still, but the last 3 episodes man fault were they were not "great" just more "normal" or "average" quality TV in regards to dealing with the villians. Some of the side stuff has been good. It was just not that excited how they caught abu Nazir. Having the team break up was not even believeable (it was for something like 24, but this show has kept a higher standard more often than not, so these types of mistakes really stand out) He really lost quality as a villian to me, when he was running around the U.S.

As soon as that agent spoke to Carrie, I knew he would die.
