I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the post office dicked something up. I come home to a slip on my door saying one of my presents is here that they need a signature for and it'll be ready to pick up at the post office at 4:00. I make it to the post office, wait in line for 15 minutes only to be told that they sent their driver out again and my ring is on his truck. Well, if you aren't going to unload the truck so that my package is ready to be picked up do me a favor and write "J/K LOL" after the 4:00 ready to be picked up time.

I don't want to jump the gun here, but I've been talking to some old friends of mine over the last few days and now I have some very, very important decisions to make over the next two months. First, where exactly it is I want to move to when I leave here and second, what kind of job field am I planning on taking up once I get to where I'm going, since of course, finding a job in that area might be a smart thing to do before I even get there. Anyway, my current choices are;

Seattle - It's my home, regardless of being born in Hawaii, Seattle is where I grew up, it's where I'm most comfortable and it's where a lot of my friends are.

Los Angeles/San Francisco - I have two awesome friends who live in San Fran, so moving there even just to see them again would be awesome, and we've never stopped talking. In fact, they're the ones who also suggested L.A. to me.

Chicago, D.C., NYC - These aren't actually choices, just bucket list hopefuls. Honestly, I think I only have like three friends who live in or around NYC, so I have no knowledge of the place or how the work environment is at all. Chicago and D.C. are just vacation spots mostly, places I wanted to visit someday. To be honest, I'm still West Coast by heart.

My 1c diamond is a lot less crappy looking than I anticipated. The quality/clarity is low, but the rock is so big I don't think it matters because the flaws are not visible to the naked eye.

In the last 24 hours there has been a shooting at a elementary school in Connecticut and a man injured 22 children and teachers with a knife at a school in China.

What is happening to us?
