Good call NE. I figured it out at the beginning of the episode. I do like how they are really putting Ted in a position where meeting his wife will seem like a big salvation for him.

This was ALMOST the last season, so the bass player is definitely the mother. Spending some time with the mother and understanding why Ted chose her makes sense.

that was a pretty amazing ending. They basically dropped that moment in a random episode with no realy warning.. They could have played the moment he sees first time a lot of different ways. Unless of course he actually meets her at the wedding early and actual talks to her before just smiling when he looks up.

either way. Its nice to have a moment like that.

Kind of random, there was a month break. They probably filmed this one and the rest to come this season after the first 12 episdoes. In fact, they probably had an alternate ending in case they didn't have a Season 9.

Monday's episode was hilarious. It wasn't very original, but it was well-executed and I loved all the geeky references.
