Default Fantastic Four (Reboot) - March 2015

http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=97851

Twentieth Century Fox Film has set a March 6, 2015 release for Chronicle director Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot. No other films are scheduled for that date yet.

Michael Green and Jeremy Slater wrote the script for the new film.

The 2005 Fantastic Four and 2007 sequel Rise of the Silver Surfer were directed by Tim Story and starred Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis.

Chronicle was pretty bada$$, I think this movie has more hope now

You know what would be cool? If they set the film in the 1960s. Help separate it from the first two films.

I'd like to see how Jessica Alba would do. Just put her in a blond wig.

Great idea! Off topic but I think that's how they should do the new Daredevil movie too.

Alba and the cast was not the problem really. It was direction and story.

Changed my Mind For Sue Storm.

Yvonne Strahovski/ Sue Storm.

Liam Hemsworth /Johnny Storm

Micheal Fassbender. Reed Richards

Stone Cold/Ben Grimm

Richard Roxburgh/ Dr Doom

To me Sean Bean would make for an epic Dr.Doom

And who ever said it was the plot and story/directing, yeah that did indeed suck, but Jessica Alba as Sue Storm was an obvious attempt to try and make Fantastic Four sexy and broaden there audience, and it showed, because she has never been a good actress .

The dude playing Reed Richards i thought was mis cast as well, wasn't feeling him. and hey totally ruined Dr.Doom, in terms of casting and characterization

only good thing was Chris Evans Human Torch

Michael Green? The guy who co-wrote the Green Lantern movie has now been hired to handle the Fantastic Four with some other guy without anything to his credit on IMDB? Yeah, this is gonna work out great...

I was gonna go with Perlman for he is the ideal Ben Grimm really. But Austin could pass as a Soldier friend of Reed. People forget Ben Grimm is the most different of the 4.

He had the size, but he would be too old for the part if he was still alive. Too old for Ben, but too young to die...

Last fall it was revealed that Mark Millar, the writer behind comic books like "The Ultimates," "Kick-Ass" and "Superman: Red Son," had been hired by Twentieth Century Fox as a consultant on the studio's upcoming Marvel Comics adaptations. Today, Millar himself has revealed another new development that could pave the way for a shared cinematic universe.

"Just off the phone with Fox and some excellent news," Millar posted on Twitter. "Matthew Vaughn is producing Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot!"

To be directed by Chronicle's Josh Trank, Fantastic Four is targeted for release on March 6, 2015. Vaughn, who directed 2011's X-Men: First Class, is producing the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past as well and, while nothing has been confirmed as of yet, it has been speculated that Fox could develop their Marvel properties for the same kind of crossover potential shown with Marvel's The Avengers.

"as good as the original"? If the reboot is going to be considered a success, it's going to have to be a great deal better than the original. That's why they're doing a reboot instead of a third movie.
