I love Honest Trailers but the TDKR one was pretty off. It wasn't really even a trailer, no trailer is 5 minutes long. Meh.

Why so serious? Wasn't that footage for Cloud Atlas a so called trailer?...I believe that was pretty long. Trailer run times aside - TDKR has no replay value imo. Nothing compared to watching Begins or TDK over again. I guess I am just upset it wasn't a Batman movie...
A repeat viewing at home just makes it easier to spot the inexcusable flaws, something I don't expect from Nolan's work . |

There are visual cues everywhere that relay the passage of time and if armed mercenaries took over your city, I'm almost positive that a majority of the population would stay off the streets as much as possible.
It's one man's opinion, who obviously was disappointed the Nolan didn't hold his hand through the entire movie. I get the movie's not perfect. Dark Knight was definitely better. But this not the worst movie ever made. It's not the worst comic book ever made. It's not even the most mediocre movie ever made. The best I can come up with is that it has the misfortune of being the follow-up to one of the greatest movies ever made maybe. That's why people feel such disappointment. But I don't see it that way

It's not that it's inaccurate--it's that the entire trailer idea is stupid and poorly put together. Did someone skip a few Final Cut Pro classes? It actually made me cringe it was so unfunny.

I thought it was pretty damn funny... as is most of the Honest Trailer series. Plus it had a guest spot from RedLetterMedia.
I'm also not sure it's suppose to be taken as seriously as this discussion has progressed. It's a joke. RLM also loved the movie.
