not in a lead role but i guess you are correct. can't argue though that the indie world turned its back on zooey and embraced aubrey pretty quickly... must be the dark hair.

Zooey was never really an Indie actress per say. She did mainstream movies like Elf and Yes Man and stuff like that all throughout her movie career. Even before New Girl she was in Your Highness with Kenny Powers.

Speaking of Charlie Sheen, he just paid off Lindsay Lohan's outstanding tax bill in full (100,000). They got to talking to each other on some set, and he was trying to give her advice like don't give in to impulses - think before you do something.
Unfortunately, Lohan just got arrested for slugging some woman who got on her nerves at a club a few nights ago. I think I heard about another fender bender recently but only briefly so I don't know about that charge, but she's not doing herself any favors by still going to clubs until wee hours of the morning.

Yeah, but she also did non-hipster indies and mainstream movies. The hipster community may have claimed her as one of their own, which is difficult to fault given that Deschanel is one in real-life, but she has had a pretty diverse career.
