She's pretty hilarious. Just started watching it and am surprised by how good it is.

Neil Goldman and Garrett Donovan (Family Guy, Scrubs, Community) were the showrunners for the first 7 episodes. So, I knew it would be great. But when they abruptly left the series, I got concerned. The first episode without them aired this week and, thankfully, it was still good. I would go as far as to say that Ben & Kate is the best of the Tuesday night comedies. New Girl has been hilarious this season, but their plotlines are incredibly weak. Plus, Winston is window-dressing and I find that a little insulting. Don't Trust the "B" has also been hilarious, but like New Girl, the stories don't seem to matter. Then you have Happy Endings, which I hate to say, has been pretty disappointing. You can tell they ran out of ideas. As for Go On and New Normal, they're both good, but they're definitely "soft comedies."

So, Ben & Kate is really the only show that has a great balance of storytelling, character development, and great humor. It's a shame most people aren't watching it.

Just watched "21st Birthday". That final scene was so good. And Tommy is hilarious.

It was beautiful to be honest. Dakota Johnson really shines in that scene. If Ben & Kate were more high-profile, that could have been her Emmy submission. The girl who plays her daughter is excellent as well.
