No, he isn't. Superman Returns killed his momentum. Valkyrie was a victim to Tom Cruise's poor management of United Artists. And his upcoming film, Jack the Giant Slayer keeps getting delayed. A has-been? That's a bit extreme, isn't it? Of the six studio movies Singer has directed, ONE has failed to perform to expectation at the box office.

Bryan Singer used to be relevant. He hasn't been in many years. He definitely needs a hit. Hence why he's returning to the franchise he abandoned almost a decade ago. He's crawling back.

Agreed. I hope he pulls this off. Singer's pretty talented and it be a shame to see that go to waste.

I can see Michael Fassbender turning into Ian McKellan, but I don't totally buy James McAvoy turning into Patrick Stewart. For starters, their voices are at opposite pitches. Stewart has a Shakespearian vibe that McAvoy lacks.

This is slowly turning into a massive film. Can you imagine if they got everyone from the original cast + the first class? CLEARLY, The Avengers has had an affect on this sequel. By 2014, when the movie is released, it would have been 8 years since Last Stand. Seeing the whole gang back together will excite audiences.

Shouldn't they just call this X-Men 4. If Halle berry is to appear then we know this is just X-men 4 only its retitled and showing younger verisons of Mags and Professor X.
