Bryan Singer is doing just fine. A director needs a whole series of box office bombs before they're in trouble. His last film, Valkyrie did extremely well.

No, he isn't. Superman Returns killed his momentum. Valkyrie was a victim to Tom Cruise's poor management of United Artists. And his upcoming film, Jack the Giant Slayer keeps getting delayed. At one point, Bryan Singer was one of the most respected filmmakers in Hollywoods. But he's a has-been now. He definitely needs a MAJOR hit. X2 was 9 years ago. He has to clear his name.

A has-been? That's a bit extreme, isn't it? Of the six studio movies Singer has directed, ONE has failed to perform to expectation at the box office.

Bryan Singer used to be relevant. He hasn't been in many years. He definitely needs a hit. Hence why he's returning to the franchise he abandoned almost a decade ago. He's crawling back.

Agreed. I hope he pulls this off. Singer's pretty talented and it be a shame to see that go to waste.

I got to hang out with Michael Fassbender the other week, then he danced with my lady friend. He's got smooth moves.

Though your typo makes it a more interesting sentence.

This is going to be the best X-Men film.

I can see Michael Fassbender turning into Ian McKellan, but I don't totally buy James McAvoy turning into Patrick Stewart. For starters, their voices are at opposite pitches. Stewart has a Shakespearian vibe that McAvoy lacks.

Hugh Jackman "in talks" to co-star in Days of Future Past: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=97488

This is slowly turning into a massive film. Can you imagine if they got everyone from the original cast + the first class? CLEARLY, The Avengers has had an affect on this sequel. By 2014, when the movie is released, it would have been 8 years since Last Stand. Seeing the whole gang back together will excite audiences.

Shouldn't they just call this X-Men 4. If Halle berry is to appear then we know this is just X-men 4 only its retitled and showing younger verisons of Mags and Professor X.

No, do not call it X-Men 4. It'll just remind people of the horrible X3. This way, we can still look forward to it being a sequel to X-Men: First Class. lol.

I remember the hype for X-men 2 was pretty crazy back in the day...

But this might take the cake

Maybe their time travel adventure will cancel out the events of X3.
