It's the #1 comedy series... but that's only because it's a conventional sitcom watched by old people.

Not many sitcoms reach 10 seasons.

Friends, The Jeffersons, Married… With Children, Fraiser, Cheers, My Three Sons, South Park (okk it's not really a sitcom but still a comedy), The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, The Simpsons (South Park ditto). King of the Hill (ditto), Family Guy (ditto), The Danny Thomas Show, The Donna Reed Show, Happy Days, Murphy Brown, M*A*S*H.

Everybody Loves Raymond made it to 9 seasons, as did The Beverly Hillbillies, The Drew Carey Show, and Love Boat .

Now compare that to the sitcoms that didn't.

Lots of sitcoms didn't make it past episode 1

besides, your statement didn't specify measurement of comparison to the sum total of sitcoms - it was more a measurement of sitcoms versus a milestone of seasons.

(you've been really good for my post count recently - thanks lol)

The little kid is now bad mouthing the show too. Looks like he wants to follow in Charlie's footsteps and make a spectacle that leads to his firing.

The kid is off his rocker though, a crazy religious nut job, not just a crazy ego maniac.

Although I'm not sure which is worse...

LOL - I read about that a few days ago. It's funny that only recently has he had any problem with it. His Seventh-day Adventist BS is going to end up biting him in the ass. Franklin is right, he's nuts.

Oh and I like how he throws in the "I love black people!" comment into the conversation, like he's being accused of being a racist now.

It's my understanding that he's barely on the show these days. His character joined the Army so he's only in a handful of episodes. Maybe he's just bitter. He's the half in the Two and a Half Men but there's no half anymore.

CBS Wants 11th Season Of ’2.5 Men’ With Angus T. Jones, Warner Bros. “Interested”

Will Chuck Lorre have four series on CBS next fall? It certainly looks that way, with veteran Two And A Half Men eying an 11th season renewal.

“We’ve told (Two And A Half Men producer) Warner Bros. TV that we would like to have a 11th season,” CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler said at TCA this morning. “They’re equally interested.” With the cast’s deals up at the end of the season, including star Ashton Kutcher, and the latest controversy surrounding Angus T. Jones, many have speculated that the show may call it a day after 10 seasons, a high-profile leading man switch from Charlie Sheen to Kutcher and a ton of tabloid headlines.

But, after a slowish start, Men has been thriving in its new Thursday 8:30 PM, hitting season highs. And Lorre this week indicated that all has been forgiven with Jones, who is returning to work next week with a meaty new storyline featuring Emmy winner Jaime Pressly as his “cougar” love interest. “He’s part of our show. He’s part of our family. We love him… He’s 19, man. Cut him some slack,” Lorre said on Wednesday.

This morning, Tassler echoed Lorre’s sentiment. “We’d like him to be part of (the show) next year, I think he would like to come back too, and Chuck and Warner Bros. would do too,” she said on stage. She later continued: “You know what, the kid is 19 years old, OK? I’ve got a 24-year-old. Between the ages of 19 and 24, there have been plenty of things my kid has said that I wish he hadn’t. But I think the bottom line is, cooler heads prevailed. He’s been a beloved member of that cast for years and years. He issued a public apology. At the end of the day, they want him back, he wants to come back, he’s tabling next week, and that’s it. And we move on.”

With CBS on board, Warner Bros. now faces renegotiations with Kutcher, who doesn’t have a deal beyond this season, along with Jon Cryer and Jones. If Men is renewed, Lorre will likely have four series on CBS last fall: Men, The Big Bang Theory, Mike & Molly and newbie Mom, which is now at the pilot stage with Anna Faris cast as the lead.

They're eventually going to have to change the name to "3 Men." Or at least 2.8.

Back in the 80's there was a show called Valerie, starring Valerie Harper. After a couple of seasons, Harper demanded too much money to renew her contract and was fired. The show's name was changed to The Hogan Family. They handled it pretty much the same way Two and a Half Men did. The first episode of the new season features the husband and children returning home from Valerie's funeral.

Renewed for season 11 but the little kid will no longer be on the show. It's just Two Men now.

It's in its death throes unless they bring someone interesting like Rose or Kandi back into it.
