^^ LOL, apparently we have a troll on our hands. Nice.
I'm guessing this is someone who has been banned in the past only to resurface and start b**ching again. Welcome back? Or maybe an alias? Getting back on topic, it looks like Disney is really going for it with Kasdan and Kinsberg. I'm optimistic that all the complaints about SW becoming a Mickey Mouse franchise we just premature concerns over Disney's acquisition. It's not like the franchise could have gone downhill if they had made the switch from Jar Jar to Mickey anyways. But it seems like Kathleen Kennedy has tried to correct this ship that went horribly off course with the prequels. Now let's wait and see who's directing. So far, the pieces are coming together nicely though.

With Episode VII coming in 2015 and today's news that Episodes II and III are both being re-released next year in 3D, I think the 3D plans are being condensed. I think the plan was to originally release one 3D Star Wars per year (2012-2017) which would have had ROTJ re-released in 2017 (the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars). However, now I think they may want them all released before the new movie comes out to ramp up excitement. So hopefully that means we'll get the Original Trilogy 3D in 2014.

It looked like he was going to defend you, Ewok. That's pretty funny.

I know - I thought RedVader would come to my defense. I thought he was banned, but apparently he's come back to "partially" defend me. Not sure who pissed in Bane's Cheerios but my guess is it has something to do with him liking Lucas and me not liking what Lucas did to Star Wars. Meh, whatever.
But I did have a question for those who are more informed on movie making than I am - does 2015 really give them enough time to write the script, do full production and film the movie and prep it for release? Just seems like 2 1/2 years (assuming we're looking at a summer release) seems like a short time frame for such a big undertaking.

Well to be honest I don't approve of Bane's rude tone to your opinion. For it is your own opinion. But also I like George in his good creative years.

I don't approve of your movie reviews when you haven't even seen the movie.

Um you don't know anything about any intelligent debating. If you did you would know that you certainly have not paid for my tickets and unlike many i save every Ticket stub because i am a movie nut. I was trying to suggest you treat people with respect but since you are 9 years old. All hope of that went away .

Send us in a review of The Hobbit. It's not released yet, but that shouldn't stop you.

I have not seen the Hobbit so likely won't give a review on it but I imagine The Hobbit will be better then Lucas Prequel Star Wars films.

Don't feed the troll Vader.
Back on topic - I read a rumor that they may possibly resurrect Darth Vader. I highly doubt they'd go that route. I was hoping Darth Maul would have a continued role throughout the prequels, but Lucas prematurely killed him off. Will be interesting to see what they do with a need for Sith from here on out. Wouldn't a "balance of the force" mean that there would be 1 jedi for every Sith? Or maybe it means getting the right meds to balance your midichlorian levels.

Yeeeeah, not going to happen. I guarentee you'll hear every rumor possible over the next few years. The trick is not to repeat them.

I really hope they don't go with the story cycle of having one of Leia's kids turn against the force. Just seems a little too... already been there before.

I think a cool thing would be this why not have Luke the New Emperor. I always wanted to have a storyline where Luke many years later goes evil. Simply because he was too much like Anakin and Leia did learn Jedi Stuff from Windu who survived the purging and we get a Leia vs Luke duel.

Would that mean his midi-chlorians have gone sour?

No it would be because Luke like Anakin just didn't listen to Yoda and Obi Wan and the Dark Side is just there and Luke could have gone tired of many things the good clean way and lets face it Mark Hamill doing villains is his good craft these days.

Luke isn't going to go bad because he has a strong support structure in place to lean on when things get tough. Anakin never confided in Obi-Wan about any of his problems, and often blamed him for some of them. He occasionally vented to Padme, but his relationship with her was one of his many personal issues he needed help contending with. There is no reason for Luke to have any comparable problems that can't be worked out.

I also am sure that Obi Wan suspected his and her connection but never said. Anakin sadly never put his trust in them that he did with the Sith Lord. |
