Oh well, at least this way, the show will always be fresh, right?
I'm glad they're dropping the first storyline. It had its moments but it grew tired very fast for me. Hopefully with a fresh start my interest will return.

New location, new characters
strange, but fresh

I DVR'd it because I knew I wouldn't be home from dinner in time. So now that I am, I'm gonna watch the premiere to see how it is. Did anyone else remember to record the premiere tonight? Yes? No? Didn't care? lol.

My sister is obsessed with this show, so yes, it has been recorded in my household. I'll watch it when I get the chance.

This premiere, for me, was better than the entire first season combined. I was hooked on it from the first episode, whereas it took me a while to get into the last season. This time around, it looks like it'll be a blast. The story is far more interesting too, and completely different from the first season in terms of the supernatural.

I have it DVR'ed. I'm encouraged by your thoughts Tolkien since I wasn't the biggest fan of the first season. It was ok but really couldn't keep my interest. Too weird just to be weird.

Two short sex scenes, but the theme of S&M is still all over the place. It's twisted, but fun...

I really loved season 1 but so far not loving season 2 at all. It really is too unfocused. Is it demon possession, slasher, aliens, crazy people? These could all make for great stories but they've all been out in two episodes. I like to think it'll all come together but I'm really not sure.

The lore is completely different, that's why.

Season 1 = Supernatural.

Season 2 = Paranormal.

Season 1 is on Amazon Instant video if you have a prime account. I've heard pretty good things about the show.

I'm avoiding spoilers, but do we find out more about the retarded girl who never ages who likes to tell people they're going to die?

Season 1 was a great season for me, so I won't answer that because it raises a lot of questions.

Are you just now watching season 1 or have you seen it before?

Just watching season one for the first time. I almost laughed out loud when the kid's mom called her a "mongoloid". (I'm going to hell) TELL MEEEEE

Not bad. I recorded and watched the two Anne Frank episodes back to back and got into it.
Pretty creepy stuff.

Oh, just a footnote:
They keep laying a particular tune from the Singing Nun "Dominique" It was a big hit in the 60's.
VIDEO-CLick to Watch!:

The singer, Sœur Sourire (Sister Smile), became disillusioned with some of the church's teachings, and left the order to do social work, and to teach. She committed suicide in 1985 at the age of 51 with an overdose of alcohol and barbiturates.

Wow, talk about doing your research when picking a song. They chose the perfect song, lol. It plays in the common room in every single episode, lol.

I just watched season one on Netflix. WOWZERS! I am really into this show. Plus I'm a sucker for a gimp suit.

I know it doesn't stack up against some of the best shows on TV right now but it's just so much fun to watch. The AV Club reviews for the first season (and this season as well) are great:

http://www.avclub.com/tvclub/tvshow/...ror-story,270/

As good as the Anne Frank 2-parter was, and this show seems to do 2-parters really well (see: "Halloween" from Season 1), Season 2 hasn't grabbed me as much as Season 1.

I enjoy the episodes when I watch them but I can never get excited to put them on. Not great but I think season 2 is better than season 1.
