"No ticket!" and the rope bridge are indeed great moments. The latter especially, because I love Short Round's line: "Hang on, lady, we go for ride!"

Thanks for the comments thus far. Short Round will not be making an appearance on this list, unfortunately.
6. Indy vs The Tank
![]() The Last Crusade is a true entertainment film. We're talking about high quality in it's truest form with both great characters, bold story, fun action set pieces and memorable moments and Indy Vs the Tank is right up there. Talk about a scene. It goes on for quite a while, featuring dozens of soldiers, captured Henry Jones, Marcus and Sallah. All three of these characters really do nothing and the entire time we are set, watching Indiana get the **** kicked out of him, taking punch after punch. The ending was an unnecessary touch (trying to play Indy off as dead), the audience knew he wasn't but the reaction by everyone else was pretty great. A solid comedic moment. 5. "Don't Call Me Junior!" ![]() The best part about The Last Crusade was definitely the undeniable chemistry between Harrison Ford and Sean Connery which played off beautifully. Henry Ford is much more reserved, callus, un-wielding in judgment and ultimately a scholar, more than an explorer. Indiana is a scholar, with a punch of a boxer, the bravery of a WW2 soldier and the heart of a great man. The mixture is wonderful and one line, one line as simple as "Don't call me junior!" Which was uttered several times really displays the chemistry, the difference and the love between these two characters. I also liked the, "We named the dog, Indiana." Genius. 4. Rolling Boulder ![]() This scene really set forth the Indiana Jones saga. A scene with incredible build up, suspense with unraveling tension completely let loose by a rolling boulder coming charging at Indiana Jones. Watching Harrison Ford's great "Oh ****" reaction was absolutely hilarious. Not to mention, one of the most memorable moments in all of cinema. 3. "Let it go, Indiana." ![]() Superb acting by both actors here, but really, an absolutely beautifully delivered line by Sir Sean Connery as he utters, sympathetically to his son, "Let it go, Indiana." As Indiana struggles to reach for the Holy Grail cup, the lust in his eyes and the ultimate want to not fail. Something Henry Ford himself does not like to admit, failure and something that really embodies the character of Indiana Jones. He is a man, that can do impossible things in real life situations and in this one time, we knew he was truly human because he didn't win at the end. We all need counseling from our parents, and this was an excellent moment. 2. Cairo Swordsman ![]() We all know the story of how this scene came to be, so I won't reiterate what we all know. This scene has so much build up, ultimately to be blown down by Jones simply whipping out his gun and popping a headshot into the Swordsman. Boom. Done. Awesome. Harrison Ford's reaction, again, absolutely priceless. 1. Silhouettes ![]() Okay, most of you will not agree with this number one or want a mix around, whatever. When I saw the Indiana Jones silhouette for the first time, I was like, "Holy ****, that's epic." And really, it is. It's an excellent use of lighting, camera work and simply just making things look cool for the purposes of looking cool. Indiana Jones is an action hero, first an for most and he does a damn good job at that. I really love this because to me, when I picture Indiana Jones. this is the first thing that comes to my mind.

Can't say I agree with #1, sorry.
But a good list. And I think we can all agree the swordsman is top 3 material. (I think I put it in my Top 10 funniest scenes in all movies list.)

I think it is okay. It has a charm about it, and even has a lot of things in it that Kingdom was missing. Just do not like it as much as Raiders or Crusade.
Seriously, suggestions for a new list?

Temple of Doom was like everyone's favorite Indy movie when I was a kid. Everyone thought it was badass. There's monkey brains, hearts being pulled out, and slave children. What's not to love? So it always surprises me that people "kind-of" hate it now. I mean, yeah, I get it. Kate Capshaw is annoying. Short Round is borderline racist. But... who cares? Indiana Jones goes to hell and returns. That's awesome! There are sections of the film that feel like an `80s heavy metal music video. That's cool, man. VISUALLY, it might be my favorite Spielberg movie.

I think I appreciate it the more views I put into it. Ultimately, I cannot overlook the fact that Raiders and Crusade are miles better.
