Week 1 of collage football is over and the best teams did as they were suppose to do. I do wish the WVU would have better D. I am not sure how we will do in the Big 12. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State and Texas is not an easy thing to dominate. We are use to Big East teams.
I think the Mountaineers would have fit better in the division Michigan is in really. I will have my 10 Collage game picks in by Wed. |

i can guarantee wvu will stomp on oklahoma. they play terribly on the road.
pitt lost to youngstown state. an under .500 d2 school. i mean sure they are a perennial powerhouse in d2, but still. the game wasn't even close. and our star frosh running back got suspended for getting into a fight at mcdonalds the night before the game. nobody cares on this team. i'm glad chryst suspended them to send a message, now he needs to suspend his defensive coordinator because he was terrible.

So far, so good for my Ducks -- though, to be fair, we were playing Arkansas State/we took our starters out just a little in to the 2nd quarter (after all, we put up 50 in the 1st). If we can beat USC this year, I feel good about our chances at another Rose Bowl...or, maybe like the year before last, a national title run...

Did you guys hear about the Michigan State players teasing Michigan's QB being bad. Michigan State looked horrible the other day and Alabama is the best collage team bar non.

Well the main point Is that Cincy will win. I think there the best team in the Big East other then USF since WVU left. No points are assured in any game.

It stems from Syracuse and Miami hate back when they were real rivals of the then WVU Don Nelan Mountaineers big east games. Those times were really great. The Big east had Virginia Tech, Boston Collage, Miami and back then Syracuse was a great rival and Pitt was good then as well.

Week 3 10 NCAAF Picks
1 Mountaineers 2 Virginia Tech 3 Florida State 4 Clemson 5 Alabama 6 Florida 7 Geogia 8 Georgia Tech 9 Notra Dame 10 Penn State. A side note no one likes the whole scandal that happen at Penn State because all the coaching staff and people who knew need punished but I cannot help but feel sorry for the innocent this year players and I think they get that important hold my head up win against Navy. So they have faith in there own Pride as players. |

Damn did that win feel great.
The 13-9 game in 2006 was great, don't get me wrong. But it was a bit of a fluke - sure, we ruined SC's chances of going to the title game which was great, but the game itself was kind of a fluke. SC was clearly a better team overall and had a better year and the loss was a bit weird and clearly attributed to them having an off day. This game, though? This was no fluke. We beat SC because we are a BETTER FOOTBALL TEAM. We had a better year, we have a better record, we'll be going to the conference championship and to a better bowl game. We're better than them and we showed it on the field and damn does it feel good to say that.

Plus, the title game just shifted from being Kansas State/Oregon (perfectly acceptable, both totally respectable schools and fanbases) to Notre Dame/Alabama (absolutely putrid, arguably two of the three most insufferable fanbases in college football).

And here comes two months of ESPN treating Nick Saban as if he was a God, a smug, smarmy ******* of a God. I hope the Tide crashes right in to a barrier of tampons.
