I've just seen on the main CS site that there's going to be a film made of the book of the same name. Two words i saw together were 'Zombie' and 'romance' WTF!? That's just wrong! First Twilight now this? Is Hollywoods taste for necrophilia getting worse?

Haven't read the book but based on the video there could be some interesting parallels to society being dead and wishing to "feel" alive again. As far as zombie romance goes...that is very, very, bizarre.

Don't know how that works myself but the zombie seems to be thinking fairly humanly so those emotions may be possible? Haven't asked too many dead people that question before either. lol

never made it past the pilot, but it was a strange take on zombies. but AMC is making the walking dead into a tv show, and mtv is apparently making a zombie tv show too. probably gonna get over saturated like vampires are now, but we'll see, Darabont is attached to the walking dead, so could be pretty solid.
