This is going to be an expensive month. Just bought Titanic, Indy on tuesday, Avengers next week, and two weeks after that Prometheus AND E.T. And in between that I could also buy Cinderella for the "when I have kids" collection.

Hitchock Blu-ray box set has been delayed because Universal has supposedly messed up quite a few things on it. Thankfully it was all spotted by a UK reviewer and word got around quite quickly.

apparently it is not completely re done. just some new special features, still waiting for the new transfers.

nolan's collection is on sale this week on amazon. 25 bucks.

After watching the first season of Batman Beyond, I really wish that there would be a Blu-Ray counter part to SD. This show would look so damn good in Blu-Ray.

I believe poor sales of Justice League Season One and Two blu-rays have discouraged Warner Bros. from putting the rest of the DCAU on blu-ray.

I don't own any of the New Doctor Who seasons because they're all about $70. Imagine my surprise (and instant purchase) when I saw the fifth season at $20 today. If only they'd rerelease some of the older ones on blu-ray.

the batman beyond thing reminds me of king of the hill, one of the greatest shows ever to have graced television. the first couple seasons on dvd didn't sell very well, so they just didn't put out the rest. you can get up to like season 7 i think, mind you there are 13 seasons, and king of the hill didn't hit its stride until the middle seasons, so obviously the early seasons wouldn't sell well.

i'd kill for some koth blu's. hell even dvds.

I'm not sure I'd bite or not. For a decent price I might like the chance to go back and revisit the series, especially now that I've sold my DVD's off.

Also, where the hell is The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou? I have not seen a shred of information yet, even though all of Wes Anderson's other films are now out on the format.

It's the last Anderson film that is currently in Criterion's catalog that they haven't upgraded to Blu-ray yet. It should come soon.
