Best Bond Connery or Craig?

Like JBond, it makes me "facepalm" that Connery and Craig were singled out. According to sshuttari, the other actors don't matter. I know CS! is a small community, but this is why. It doesn't encourage outsiders to join the discussion. Is a Roger Moore or Timothy Dalton or Pierce Brosnan fan gonna join the Connery-Craig lovefest? I doubt it.

I liked Brosnan. He was my first introduction to Bond and his is the first image I conjure up at he mention of the name. And if Connery wasn't good, the character who have probably died out. They did bring him back, after all. Craig inherited this mythology and he is treating it very well. He shouldn't be faulted for being the newest model.

I agree the pool should be expanded. It's silly to whittle down 6 reincarnation to 2.

Jeez, came back to a lot of people wanting more options. If any mod wants to redo the the poll you are more then welcome too... I just think Craig and Connery are the most popular choices as the best Bond. Plus I did this thread on my Iphone and it tooks freaking forever to make threads yet alone polls, I got tired and lazy since it was taking longer then it should. Lesson Learned I suppose

Nobody is faulting him. But it is silly to assume that everyone either likes Connery OR Craig. I've been discussing Bond on the Internet for OVER a decade. I know opinions are a lot more diverse than that. For example, fans of the books love Timothy Dalton. That is their Bond. I don't think we have any Bond Book Fans here. I don't think we ever have. But go over to CommanderBond or MI6 or even SHH and just sit back and watch all the Dalton love. They would be incredibly insulted by a poll like this.

Well, I was raised to like Connery, so he's still my favorite to this day. But I'm also a big fan of Dalton and Brosnan.
