The novel was a string of different stories that showed the zombie outbreak from beginning to end. There was no real central character (except for maybe the guy recording the stories).

Just to clarify, I was not being negative. I was merely pointing out that this looks substantially different from the book (which it is).

I haven't been this excited for a zombie movie in years. And this looks pretty stellar! There obviously not going for your typical slow walking zombies like most.

I really hope it turns out cool!

I know there isn't a rule anywhere with regard to how zombies should be like, but I've never liked fast zombies unless it's due to some kinda virus.

Actually, I like fast zombies, but only at the start. After a while, it should be a decay thing, and their bodies should slow and decay like any normal body would after death. I mean, their hearts aren't beating anymore, their blood isn't pumping, and their organs are dead. So how are their muscles still able to produce movement just because that part of their brain that's still alive, tells it to? Also, winter should completely destroy them, movement-wise. Their mushy blood and organs should become ice and their brains freeze-damaged beyond repair.

But again, like I said in The Walking Dead thread; Zombie Logic isn't Human Logic.

That looks terrible, changing the book sure, but this is absolutely nothing like the book. Why buy it? Just to cash in on name recognition, this will be a complete mess.
